Every day the sun shines in these late fall months, is an amazing day! Sunday was no exception. I met up with this super family down at Blackie Spit in Crescent Beach for some family photos. What a great group! I have to admit, even though I love taking pictures of kids, it was a nice change to photograph a family of adults. Especially on such a chilly day as Sunday. Thanks everyone for a great session! I hope you enjoy your photos!

This weekend I finally got a chance to go out and photograph some of our bestest friends! This session has been a year in the making, the weather just never cooperated or our lives were so busy, but finally we did it!! I am so glad we did too! It was a fun yet very blustery day wandering around Fort Langley. These guys are big time into softball and wanted to play around with that theme a bit, so we took a little time to have some fun and portray that! I think the results are pretty good :)
Thanks guys for coming out! I’m so glad you braved the wind, cold and your own colds to do so! xoxox

The sunny days are starting to fade and the rain is moving in. Saturday was gorgeous out and I am so glad I was able to get out and meet this family for their family portraits. The P family was a refferal from a great friend and I am so glad I got to meet them! Talk about amazing little girls and Mom and Dad are super nice people! I love getting to know people over the course of their session and walking away knowing that there are truley some awesome people in this world!!

As a photographer, nothing makes you feel like you are doing a great job than when your clients keep on coming back to you to have you capture their life’s milestones. That’s how it is with this family. I photographed Mom and Dad’s wedding 2 years ago, then their first son’s newborn shots and last week they came back to the studio so I could capture son #2!
Mr Liam was a dream to photograph. Unlike his very non-sleepy brother’s newborn session, this little guy went to sleep almost right away and stayed asleep while I posed him in various postitions. It was wonderful!! Big brother Gavin came along as well and was more than happy to sit for a few adorable photos.

I have been looking forward to meeting this gorgeous gal ever since a noticed a little bump in her Mommy’s tummy. Her Mommy is my nail tech and I loved seeing how much Amy’s tummy grew between my visits. Finally this sweet girl arrived, on her due date no less!! I love how much hair she has and she is very alert already! She’s so beautiful and I think she looks just like her Mommy!!

As promised, here is the full sneak peek of Mr B’s session!
I have now had the honour of photographing the first days of my old friend Janice’s two children! I photogtraphed her first son way back when I was just starting my business and last week her latest little guy came to visit me on my birthday for his own newborn session. Big brother Nate also came along for some photos as you may have saw in my last post. He was very excited to show off his new brother, and when he wanted to hold him, he meant NOW!!!

Its been 2 years since I have photographed one of my favourite families and just going back to their last session, its so amazing to see how much the kids have grown! Time flies and when you aren’t looking the young toddlers you once have turn into intelligent little people with their own thoughts.
These 4 kids are so fun to photograph, 3 out of 4 have this crazy amazing shade of blue eyes, like Mom. And one, has this beautiful shade of green! I really could photograph them all day long. If they’d let me.
Anyways, enough gushing. Onto the reason you stopped by!

As promised, here is the video that goes along with the cake smash I photographed last week. Matt did a fabulous job and I have to admit, I’ve watched the video a few times already! I really think its a great pairing for a cake smash because as fun as the pictures are, the live action is equally as fun! Matt and I have this option as an add on to the cake smash session I offer and if it is something you would be interested in for your child’s session, please let me know!
